I was asked to do something “non traditional” colorful and fun around the gerbera daisy. It was an out door wedding, very relaxed, happy and colorful.
The bottom tier of the cake was a zesty lemon syrup sponge filled with a tangy lemon curd. The middle tier was a light chocolate sponge filled with a milk chocolate ganache and a black cherry preserve. The top tier was a vanilla sponge, filled with a strawberry preserve and a whipped creamy vanilla buttercream
There was a selection of cupcake flavours, all topped with a creamy vanilla buttercream and filled with Peanut and milk chocolate ganache, Raspberry preserve, Salted caramel, pineapple preserve and apple and elderflower preserve
Something different, fun and of course edible!
