It was a Gluten free vanilla sponge filled with a vanilla buttercream and red fruit jam.

I met some lovely people at this wedding fayre, it was at the Hilton hotel in Bromsgrove . I brought along lots of tasters:
lemon and orange cake pops, hazelnut and milk chocolate, double lemon, pina colada, starwberrys ‘n’ cream mini cupcakes, vanilla sponge with blackcurrant jam and creamy vanilla buttercream, double lemon drizzle, chocolate sponge with vanilla buttercream and a chocolate sponge filled with a milk chocolate and hazelnut ganache, vanilla cream and caramelised hazelnuts, and some vanilla pod cookies.

This was a light vanilla sponge cake filled with a creamy bourbon vanilla buttercream and a red fuit jam.
I really enjoyed making this cake! Waybuloos have such funny faces… I love making tiny little details too, so the cupcakes and sandwiches were really fun to make!
